AN ACT

1. Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

2. Statutes, prohibiting the hunting or trapping of bobcats.

3. The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

4. hereby enacts as follows:

5. Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

6. Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

7. § 2712. Bobcat hunting and trapping prohibited.

8. There shall be no open season for the hunting or trapping of

9. bobcats in this Commonwealth for a period of three years from

10. the effective date of this section.

11. Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
